I feel I'm not highly trained enough to be authoritive on what "Standard Tech" is. However tonight I looked up def 5 (tech dict). "that tech which has absolutely no arbitraries." Can't say I know all ramifications of that def. Some I know. I had no sec check I didn't want or need. I had no set ups I didn't want or need. The only thing I had apart from instruction and doing OTII was a Dof P interview. Our senior C/S did something that I've always wanted, and never had. And didn't think was even possible. He gave me the bridge and absolutely nothing else. Was he right to do this? First, it was exactly what I hoped for. Well, I was F/Ning on course. Easy to tell on solo meter drills. I've been persistant F/N on all my auditing so far. Except for a few minutes when experiencing very heavy somatics. (interesting rather than scary) and of course the many times I was reading the falls through my F/N. bb |
Semmering is the home of our AO in Austria. Itis a ski resort in the austrian Alps, and the
most beautiful place I have been. Many days I was there, I was surrounded by clouds, breathing
them in, there were clouds above, lakes of clouds in the valleys below, and everywhere a
shimmering pearlescent light. And then there were days of snowfall. Mountains, snowcovered forests,
big fluffy snowflakes such as I hadn't seen since childhood.
Ralph dosn't have quite as strict a schedule as Flagso I had one sunday morning where I could do something I never have before. Go Skiing. :) Ralph Hilton OT8 class 8 is ED. These quals are probably much understated as he delivers Ls which are a class 12 action. In fact I met one of his Ls PCs.He was twinned with me on meter drills, and I was finding it a tough gradient as with very rusty metering I was doing one of the more complex meter drills and having to read through his persistant F/N. I then got the best coaching I've ever had from Ralph. In the end I felt more confident in my metering than when I'd finished my interneship. Ralph has several able assistants. There is Maximus (genus pussycat) who is the Ethics Officer. Maximus also double hats sometimes as course Sup. In fact one time doing a particularly difficult demo he came along and moved the pieces around for me to help. Iknew I'd passed when he started purring. :) There is Chester. (genus Doggy)He used to be the E/O but someone from OSA made slighting remarks on a Doggy's qualifications for such a post ( I kid you not! ), so he resigned in a huff, ser-facs rampant and took the position of night watchman which he damn well KNEW he was qualified for! Last but not least there is Edith, Ralph's lovely partner, who does sterling service on meter drills, bullbaiting and is generally a ray of sunshine. So how was the tech. Personally I think it comes in 3 variations 1) Pure tech. 2) Tech plus some arbitraries. 3) Arbitraries in their full purity. It was the latter I had in my last services in Church of Scientology. The penultimate one was an A-J check. For the uninitiated this is the categories of troublemakers that don't generally get service in the Church of Scientology. So there I was then more than two decades in the Church, ex staff, a model member( OK I confess to occasionally having broken a few Reg's hearts) Finally validated as not being a trouble maker! This was a totally unexpected and welcome win. I was wondering what there was left for the C/S to do. A normal sec-check couldn't really be done as I'd just done FPRD to enormous wins. (at a different establishment). However I had a truly creative C/S. In a demonstration of how in Church of Scientology no stone is left unturned that might impede ones smooth progress up the bridge, I had a little tailor made sec check all of my own. Toconfirm that I didn't really have Pain Drug Hypnosis aged three. Now why one may ask is that neccessary? Well aged three I was high spirited and naughty. ( I'mjust going to have to grit my teeth and handle these solo now). My mother thought a child psychologist would provide an answer. This of course had to be looked at,...yet again....in more depth. So! There I was found not only not to be a troublemaker, but also not Psycho, or the next Manchurian Candidate. (For those not cinema literate substitute "brain-washed zombie" ) I was on such a win I havn't felt the need to visit Church of Scientology again!! Ralph when you meet him is a real laid back kind of guy. But when it comes to the tech he is A-B on rocket propelled skates. He'd indicated from what he knew of me by mail, that he thought some review and onto OTII ASAP looked about right. That was a big win for me. When we met, had a Dof P to look over my auditing history and he finally asked "any reason you can't go onto OTII." "No" I said. "That F/Ns." Straight onto Solo and 10 days or so I was on OTII. No OT elegibitity. (sec checks I believe) no OT preps. No arbitraries. My meter drilling was wonderful because I've had to run everything so far through a persistant F/N. Ralph's Ls PC says that he and others in Church of Scientology were quickied on OTII and even III. Doing 10 to 20 hours on OTII. I see from what I know so far a few hundred hours at least, or many months, of OTII ahead. The bridge, only the bridge, nothing but the bridge. And then back to Semmering for getting set up for OTIII and more of the same. Thank you Ralph for being the perfect C/S for me. bb |
Hi,
I just thought you all might like to hear of my recent trip to Semmering to see Ralph and Edith, the reason for which was to get moving again on the Bridge having been stalled for over a decade. And it went very well. What initially struck me was how easy it was to get back in session. I had developed an idea that to even do this was going to be tricky, requiring endless repairs, prepping, sec-checking - you know, you've been there. But no, none of that - just a case of "pick up the cans" and then "lets start working that case of yours". The environment was set high in the mountains of Austria, stress-free with as much space as you need - and you certainly need some of that when you hit the OT levels. The days slid by effortlessly, just the detachment from the usual everyday distractions was a key-out in itself. Ralph also indulged me with some photographic treks into the local hills where we did, on one occasion, wait a couple of hours for the sun to set so as to witness one of nature's finest. The cablecars were a lot of fun and the chairlift is not for those who have any kind of vertigo in restimulation - take my word for it! The language was a bit tricky - it is a quirk of the English who believe the rest of the world speak their language. Semmering is out in the provinces and - well - German was not my specialist subject at school so it all took a bit of getting used to. The Germanic people I came across were all very friendly and helpful, full of ARC for this traveller. This first occurred to me whilst travelling to Semmering on the first day. It is a journey with lots of connections, at least from my part of the world. Consequently, I managed to get off the train at the wrong station - one stop before Semmering in actual fact (I thought I had gone past it). This error was then compounded by the problem of there being no more trains that night and - worse - Steinhaus was a very small hamlet inhabited by only one man and his dog - both of whom seemed to be out of town when I arrived. Or so I thought. Faced with a lengthy walk of an hour or more - with suitcases and blistering hands, the remainder of the journey did appear to be a grim one. Then I remembered the Tone Scale and had the idea that one should stay reasonably near the top end - i.e. postulates. So I postulated somebody giving me a ride to the hotel. After walking for about five minutes a man came chasing after me - he no English - me no German. But he did manage "Where? I drive you?" Now my friends, that is exactly how it happened - I am not exaggerating. I knew it was going to be a good trip. And by the end of my time in Austria, I had completed the solo course and was onto OTII - a purpose that had been lost some time ago. My chats with Ralph also cleared up buckets of false data and misconceptions I had picked up along the way. It was as though I had rediscovered Scientology all over again - that thing I thought I had been a part of up until now is most definitely not Scientology. It was an odd sensation to suddenly find my way onto this promised land of OT levels without the usual duress and arbitraries that would probably have been the CofS way - not to mention the not so small requirement of a sackload of money. So, in total, I am recommending Ralph wholeheartedly. Do what I did. Take a week or two off from whatever you are doing, sort out some flights and get yourself over there for a bit of Standard Tech and tea. Those reasons that one finds for not doing so ARE - in actual fact - the very reasons you should do so...! I now understand this point a lot more than I used to. Go for it, drop Ralph a line - you won't regret it. Best wishes, Dreamseeker |
I am no longer lost in the crowd.
I have been freed from much illusion, and confusion. I can spot the source of things, in that, I have regained a lot of power. I understand the importance of truth. I am only now beginning to find out who I really am, and who others are too. Admitting cause has become so easy. I have arrived at theta universe, avenue #1. I want others to experience the gains that I have had. Because I prefer to be seen for who I really am. The hiding is over. The most important people in my life, have been my parents and my auditors. The ones who always take me to the next level, of a brand new me. To all the auditors out there, it's really very true that the lives of every man woman and child depend on what you do here and now. Thank you. Anon. |
I want to add some successes from my part.
This days I attempted running things from
OTII. At the end I had several realization regarding this Universe.
First of all I realized the place of 5th Dynamics. In other words I have found it. For me this Dynamics looks now as a single organism who is a true host of this Universe. I as a thetan can not experience the game of life myself. I need for this some life forms and I borrow them from Fifth Dynamic. This has cleared for me my relationships with Fifth Dynamic. I found that I am rather a guest in this Universe as I need it only for my games. But life forms from Fifth Dynamic have much more close relations with the Universe. And I found as well that life was a nice game. Alex |
