A consortium of beings devoted to application of

the works of L. Ron Hubbard

The term Free Zone is first attributed to Captain Bill Roberston who was a very highly ranked member of the Church of Scientology until the early 80s when he, like many others at the time, left due to various disagreements. He founded what is today known as the Rons Org network and, for a time, the term Free Zone was rather synonymous with that group.

However, the Free Zone (often written as one word "freezone" or even abbreviated simply to FZ) is, today, probably best described as all persons and groups who have beliefs and practices at least loosely based upon the works of the late L. Ron Hubbard. (Except, that is, for the official Church of Scientology that Hubbard founded and who definitely do not include themselves in the freezone.)

It is a very diverse group. Some within the freezone are what you might call 'scientologically conservative' and stick very closely to Hubbard's original work. Others have attempted to rewrite Hubbard's work in order to avoid possible problems regarding copyright but who, never the less, adhere quite closely to his intent. Yet others have rather looser connections with the original writings. You can find out more about many of these groups by following links from our "links" and "doubt" pages available at the botom of this page.

FZAOINT (Free Zone Advanced Organisations International) is a group of beings around the world who consider themselves to be in the more scientologically conservative category and who like to maintain cordial and productive relations with others who are similarly minded. We hope we are a unifying force. You are welcome here.
